Radnor School District Cleans Up Website Ads
By James Boyle A link to a third party sports site featured suggestive and inappropriate banner ads.

The Radnor School Board approved of Superintendent Michael Kelly’s plan to make the search for the football team’s schedule more student friendly, according to mainlinemedianews.com.
According to the report, Kelly responded to complaints that banner ads on the third party DigitalSports website featured inappropriate content featuring material such as firearms sales, violent video games and a link to a quiz on the New Testament, possibly encroaching the separation of church and state. The DigitalSports site is linked from the district’s page and features game schedules, results and other information for the high school teams.
Kelly told the board that there will be a clear and obvious disclaimer that clicking on the DigitalSports link will take the user off the district site onto a page not managed by Radnor School District. According to the article, the ads will now be educational or from DigitalSports.
