Radnor Schools Offering College Admissions Help

Your budding college student can get all the help they need in the admissions process at some upcoming workshops in Radnor.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Applying to college is daunting, but the Radnor Township School District wants to help area students ace the admissions process by hosting several workshops on how to sail through.

The district is hosting three workshops, all from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., on Feb. 24, March 3, March 10 and March 17 at the Radnor Township Municipal Building.

Cigus Vanni, the former assistant dean of the college and admissions counselor at Swarthmore College and the former director of counseling for the Bishop Eustace Preparatory School in Pennsauken, will lead workshops

Soon-to-be high school graduates and their parents will get answers on common admissions questions and more.

The workshops are free to all students and parents and no reservations are necessary.

While each individual session covers different topics, the workshops are meant to be experienced as a series.

Attendees will also have the chance to win college T-shirts and sweatshirts.

The sessions are sponsored by the Radnor Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association for Gifted Education (Radnor PAGE) and are intended to augment, not supplant or substitute, high school counseling efforts.
