Radnor Seeking Interim Ward 7 Commissioner

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA – Radnor Township residents living in Ward 7 who want to become part of the political process are invited to submit a letter of interest to serve as the interim Ward 7 commissioner.
Anyone who wants to be considered for the interim commissioner role should send in a letter of interest to Radnor Township Manager Robert Zienkowski at the Radnor Township Building, 301 Iven Ave., Wayne, PA 19087.
Interested Ward residents need to have lived in Ward 7 and have been a registered voter for one year.

The Ward 7 seat was vacated after former Commissioner Phil Ahr stepped down as he faces child pornography charges.

Ahr stepped down from his role on Monday, Nov. 6. Shortly before that, he resigned his role as the board of commissioners president but kept his Ward 7 seat.
Ahr, 66, of Radnor Township was arrested Oct. 11 on numerous counts of child pornography possession and distribution charges for images that depict children as infants engaged in sex acts with adults, the Delaware County District Attorney's office said.
