Radnor Township Business Privilege And Mercantile Tax Extension

The Board of Commissioners of Radnor Township, in an effort to support the business community during this time of crisis, have adopted Resolution 2020-52 authorizing a further extension of time to file and pay the Radnor Township Business Privilege and Mercantile taxes. Tax returns are typically required to be filed with the Township’s Finance Department by May 15 each year however in light of the current COVID-19 crisis, the Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution providing the following relief:

1. Deadline for filing and paying your business taxes has been further extended to September 15, 2020.
2. Required estimated tax payment for 2020 may be based on no less than 50% of your prior year taxable receipts.

Please note the 50% estimated tax for 2020 is the floor and is intended to help those businesses who are truly experiencing a significant reduction in their taxable gross receipts. Your estimated tax calculation should closely match your estimated 2020 business activity.
