DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
REFUSE/RECYCLING/YARD WASTE SCHEDULE:

- Monday – District 1 Refuse
- Tuesday – District 2 Refuse
- Thursday - District 1 Recycling & Township-wide Yard Waste
- Friday – District 2 Recycling & Township-wide Yard Waste
- Yard Waste: Note that the Thursday/ Friday pickup is only during COVID-19 Emergency Declaration period. Service will return to Wednesday once declaration is lifted. Date unknown. Recycling pick-ups will not be interrupted during this interim protocol.
UTILITIES
- Miller Brothers continues PECO gas main work in the South Devon & Beaupre sections of the Township.
- Darby Paoli Road remains closed for the PENDOT bridge work.
- County Line closure between Matsonford Road & North Spring Mill (320)
- PECO will be performing tree trimming.
- County Line will be closed weekdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. & Saturdays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Residents will have access to their homes.
- The project is projected to last 3 weeks.
- Starting May 6th PECO will be replacing 42 telephone poles on County Line Road in the area of Wistar Road.
DEPARTMENT OF ENGINEERING
- Harford Trail – will be bringing the project before the Shade Tree Commission for input and comment.
- A virtual STC meeting will be held prior to its normal May date so we may appear before the Commissioners to rebid the project.
- Morris Road – meet onsite with Ward Commissioner to review additional sidewalk heaved by large tree roots.
- Radnor TAP Trail – ongoing meeting on easement agreements, with RTSD and Cornerstone.
- West Wayne access to Friends of the Radnor Trail Park – review of revised draft plan.
- Lancaster Avenue Sidewalk, Barleycone Rd. to Garrett Avenue – meet with Gilmore for update.
- PECO gas- meeting (again) to finalize plans for gas relocation.
- Regarding the Malin Road Culvert – concerns with PECO methodology for the project.
- Regarding the South Wayne Flood Reduction Project – finalizing relocation.
- Darby Paoli Multi-Use Trail – meeting to discuss review comments.
- Respond to builder’s requests on State issued waivers.
- Perform Inspections on sites with waivers or emergency work.
- Review land development application plans – VU CEER Building.
- Continuing weekly meetings* with consultants (Carroll, Gilmore, Gannett Fleming) on all infrastructure projects.
- To reduce backlog, the Engineering Department has been accepting Grading Permit applications to perform the reviews. These permits will be issued when the restrictions are lifted.
*All Meetings are virtual.
DEPARTMENT OF RECREATION
- New Programming Available:
- Radnor Day Camp - Two live meetings will take place for Radnor Day Camp Families, one will take place on Monday, May 4th and one on Wednesday, May 6th both starting at 7:00 PM. This is an opportunity to talk with our camp families to discuss the various options that may be available this summer and to provide engagement. - Family Disney Trivia Night: Wednesday, May 13th at 7pm – register here for Radnor’s first live virtual Trivia Night that will test your knowledge on everything Disney! This is a free program for families! Each family will receive a voucher for a free bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes. First place will receive an 8” cake and second place will receive a 3-bundlet tower!
