REFUSE/RECYCLE/YARD WASTE SCHEDULE:

  • Monday – District 1 Refuse
  • Tuesday – District 2 Refuse
  • Wednesday – Yard Waste - Open Stops
  • Thursday - District 1 Recycling
  • Friday – District 2 Recycling

TOWNSHIP PAVING PROJECT

Allen Myers, Inc. has finished the paving of all roads on the list. Now being installing speed humps and running through the punch list. UTILITIES:

  • Miller Brothers continues PECO gas main work in the South Devon area & Beaupre sections of the Township.
  • Along with the above work South Devon Ave. will be closed a block at a time for gas main installation.
  • Darby Paoli Road is closed to traffic for PENNDOT bridge work at the entrance to the Willows. The project is anticipated to last for the remaining of 2020.
  • Aqua will be installing 2,104 feet of Water Main and water services on Radnor Street Road starting at Eagle and working down to Walnut. They will proceed on Walnut to Woodland Ave. Work. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents will have access.
  • Monday October 12: Kehoe construction will begin the restoration of the trench and roadway on Morris Rd. and Clover Rd. The project could last the full week.
  • Glenmary Road will be closed on Monday, October 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for sewer repair at 610 Glenmary Lane. School Buses and Emergency Vehicles will have access.

  • Santa’s Delivery & Garrett Hill Tree Lighting information will be available soon.

Park & Recreation Facilities:

  • Current Status Amidst Covid-19 - All Parks & Trails and corresponding amenities are OPEN for usage including permitted usage in accordance with state and federal guidelines (water fountains remain closed) – new stake signage was developed and has been posted regarding safe practices for usage and mask wearing.
  • Radnor Activity Center will REOPEN next week as a backup for inclement weather for outdoor programming, a couple programs and rentals starting, and for Election Day on 11/3.
  • Department continues to coordinate permitted usage of athletic fields and park areas with users throughout the entire park system.

Radnor Township Department of Engineering

  • Prepare three projects approved for bidding by the Commissioners:
    1. Arthur Lane Storm Sewer
    2. Wooton Lane Storm Sewer
    3. Cumberland Place Storm Sewer
  • Review final plans for Gulph Creek retaining wall
  • Meet regarding K of P Intersection, re: PennDOT comments
  • Critique Ithan Creek Flood Reduction Study
  • Meet with Rec Director and Gilmore on value engineering of Fenimore Woods Project
  • Finalize sewer relocation plans for Lancaster Avenue
  • Finalize Fall Tree Planting Bid Package
  • Continue resident meetings on the Gulph Creek Flood Plain Creation Project
  • Respond to builders’ and developer’s inquiries
  • Perform Site Inspections
  • 2020 Superpave Project closing
  • Site visits to Meter Bridge Replacement Project
  • Review land development application plans
  • Continuing weekly meetings with consultants (Carroll, Gilmore, Gannett Fleming) on all infrastructure projects
  • Process grading permit, clearing, sidewalk, and U&O applications
  • Address concerns and accept applications at front desk.
  • Respond to and meet with residents on various concerns
