Radnor Township Yard Waste Pick-Up Continues

Based on the amount of yard waste the crews observed this week, the trucks made it through approximately 75% of the Township by April 17.

This week, our Public Works crews completed the first of our scheduled yard waste pick-up. As you can imagine, with a month of backed-up demand, there were a lot of houses with yard waste. The Township deployed four trucks designated specifically for yard waste pick-up. They began West to South and worked their way East and North.

Based on the amount of yard waste the crews observed this week, the trucks made it through approximately 75% of the Township by Friday, April 17. Please be advised of the following:

  • The PW crews have approximately 25% of the Township remaining for pick-up;
  • If you were missed, please do not panic. We will finish the remainder of the Township beginning next Thursday, April 23;
  • We anticipate taking two weeks of Thursday/ Friday collections to collect the backed up yard waste amounts;
  • As a reminder, the Yard Waste Pick-Up schedule does not impact the Recycling schedule whatsoever;
  • We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding.
