Radnor Twp. Hiring Assistant Health Inspector

Radnor Townhship is accepting applications for an assistant health inspector position with the township.

Anyone who is interested in applying should submit a cover letter, resume, and a completed township application to the Radnor Township Human Resources, 301 Iven Ave., Wayne, PA 19087

According to the township, the assistant health inspector will conduct environmental inspections/investigations; issue corrective orders/provide educational services; and conduct other related field/office based work required to protect public health.

These investigations and inspections will be conducted at places such as eating and drinking establishments; food facilities for public/private schools,colleges, and nursing homes; grocery stores/supermarkets; commercial swimming pools; and other facilities as required to protect the public safety, the township said.

The assistant health inspector may also perform a variety of environmental work of varying difficulty and complexity, with assignments based on technical proficiency and experience, the township said.

The position offers benefits and the use of township vehicles while on the job.

The employee will work under the supervision of the Township Health Officer Larry Taltoan.
