Radnor's Annual Unity In The Community Block Party: What To Know
Don't miss out on food, games, music, and more with your Radnor Township neighbors Saturday on Highland Avenue in Wayne.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Radnor residents are invited to join their neighbors for a day of fun at the 3rd Annual Unity in the Community Block Party this weekend.
The event will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24 on Highland Avenue in the Wayne section of Radnor Township.

"We are excited to participate again in the Unity in the Community event. Radnor Police Department and Radnor Township feel very lucky to have this event with great, local residents," Radnor Police Superintendent Chris Flanagan said. "Kids to seniors come together and talk. We hope to see new faces as well as those who have historically attended the event. All of Radnor is welcome."
Unity in the Community is an annual event that strives to build positive relationships with community members and local law enforcement.

Radnor Police Department and Radnor Township have partnered with Reverend Dr. Manuel A. Howard M.Div., pastor of St. John’s AME Church in Wayne to host the event with the goal of encouraging communication, respect, and relationship building within Radnor Township.
"A unified local, national and global community can overcome all hate, adversity, division, strife, separation, malice, violence and greed," Howard said. "Our 3rd Annual Unity in the Community Block Party is a God-given vision established to bring all people together in the Spirit of Love and Unity!"
The day with include food and drinks, bounce houses, and music. As a new initiative this year, Reading with the Radnor Police program will attend the event to read favorite childhood stories to the kids.
Each year there is a collection taken up for bookbags stuffed with school supplies for children in need. More 100 bookbags have been collected so far this year.
