As the summer months begin so does the Atlantic hurricane season. Though our area does not usually take direct hits from hurricanes, it does see waves of severe weather storms which cause flooding, downed trees, and power outages. These weather-related hazards are dangerous unto themselves but adding extreme heat conditions and now the Coronavirus Pandemic heightens the importance of being prepared.
