Radnor's Parking System To Change To Pay-By-Plate
The township is switching from pay-by-space to pay-by-plate. Here's what will change, and what will stay the same.
RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Radnor Township's parking payment system is switching from pay-by-space to pay-by-plate.
The new system will use the ParkMobile app and parking kiosks. The transition begins March 30 with the ParkMobile app. Parking kiosks will follow during the week of April 13.
Radnor Township partnered two years ago with ParkMobile, a digital system for metered parking.

The new pay-by-plate system will cover the 900-plus township parking spaces, allowing users to pay for parking, extend sessions and manage their parking via smartphone or at a kiosk. Paying by plate removes the need for drivers to locate and enter a specific space number when paying, according to township officials.
For app users, the process involves entering a license plate number and zone number into the ParkMobile app. This data is then sent to parking enforcement.

Kiosk users will enter their license plate number directly into the kiosk. The system is valid for both on-street and off-street parking, with the license plate serving as the parking reference.
Users can receive 10 minutes of free parking. First-time mobile app users can add their vehicle, and the app will save it for future use. Officials advise users to double-check their license plate number before confirming payment.
Several aspects of parking in Radnor Township will not change, including parking locations, established rates, time limits and enforcement hours.
More information on ParkMobile is available on the township's website.
