Radnor Township Police are offering your kids a unique reading experience that will get them familiar with community law enforcement.

RADNOR, PA – Radnor Township Police are offering kids in the area a unique reading experience that will help them get familiar with their community law enforcement.

The department is hosting three reading events where Radnor Police officers will read to kids.

The new free program includes reading, snacks, question and answer with police, and there may even be tours of police vehicles and visits from K9 units.

The three events are being held on the following days and times:

  • Monday, July 10 - 11 a.m. at Encke Park. Recommended for preschool to youth ages;
  • Tuesday, July 18 - 3 p.m. at Odorisio Park, 418 Fairview Road, Wayne. Recommended for preschool to youth ages;
  • Thursday, July 27 - 6 p.m. at the Radnor Activity Center, 125 S. Wayne Ave., Wayne. After the story there will be an open basketball gym night. Recommended for youth and teens

Christ Church Ithan in Villanova is sponsoring the program and volunteers from the church will provide snacks and volunteer support.
