Rector Position Open At Christ Church Anglican In Wayne

Position is part time but could expand to full time as the congregation grows.

The Christ Anglican Church on the Main Line in Wayne has yet to fill the vacant rector position and is still looking for the right person to shepherd its flock.

The rector position requires planning and leading weekly worship; meeting regularly with and oversee staff staff and vestry; working with deacons in overseeing small group leaders and other ministry volunteers, as well as providing pastoral care with deacons as needed; preparing and preaching two to three sermons per month; and to be available for training and mentoring new leaders and ministers.

Compensation is negotiable and the position is part time, however it could become full time depending on the congregation's growth.

The position has been vacant since July after Fr. Adam Rick left the congregation to serve Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Hillsdale, Mich. Since Rick's departure, Peter Edman as Bishop's Warden has been coordinating the clergy staff to support ongoing ministries and making any necessary decisions in consultation with the Vestry and the Bishop.
