Reminder From Radnor Public Works: COVID-19 Safety/Amended Yard Waste Collection Schedule

Thank you very much to the Radnor Township community for your understanding and support during the pandemic and always.

December 4, 2020

In an effort to keep our Public Works staff safe and healthy, the Radnor Township Department of Public Works launched a modified, two week collection schedule beginning immediately after Thanksgiving. Now more than ever, employee safety is critical as is staying on schedule for essential services like trash and recycling.

As we are currently in Leaf Collection Season, leaf collection also becomes an essential service this time of year. To provide essential services without interruption, we have developed work cohorts to keep our Public Works staff working efficiently and safely with a keen focus on staying on schedule.

Our apologies, however this cohort system indeed requires a modified schedule and therefore Yard Waste Collection will be delayed until December 16, 2020. However, once resumed, Yard Waste Collection will run on schedule the remainder of the year (pending inclement weather or health concerns).

**Please note, Radnor Township Department of Public Works will open Skunk Hollow Park (600 Darby Paoli Rd, Villanova) on December 5 and December 12 from 8am - 2pm for any resident who wishes to drop off yard waste free of charge.**

Thank you very much to the Radnor Township Department of Public Works for providing the essential services that keep our community strong, healthy and clean. During the COVID-19 pandemic, your frontline service and dedication to Radnor Township is greatly appreciated by all. In this very busy season of leaf collection, we thank you for your service!
