REMINDER: Wayne Music Fest Hitting The Main Line This Weekend

WAYNE, PA – In case you missed it, the WXPN Wayne Music Festival is all set for Saturday, but the fun starts Friday night and carries into the wee hours of Saturday.

The all-ages festival begins at 2 p.m. Saturday June 10 with the first two bands set to perform at the West Ave GAP Stage and the Tröegs Beer Garden Stage. The first acts are Help the Doctor and Bryan Seymour,respectively.

Pittsburgh rockers Rusted Root, whose music has been featured in manyfilms, television programs, and commercials, will take the perform on the N. Wayne Ave CHOP Stage at 9 p.m. with fireworks set to go off at 10 p.m.

Each performer has a link next to their name that will take you to a website of Facebook page so you can hear what kind of jams they will be serving up.

Stages will be set up along Wayne and West avenues and will close part of those roads.

Several others acts will perform at 10:30 p.m. following the fireworks: Wheelhouse will play at Great American Pub, 4 West Ave., Wayne; Triage at Teresa's, 124 N. Wayne Ave., Wayne; Loose & Alright at JD McGillicuddy's, 118 N. Wayne Ave., Wayne; John Anthony Seitz at Goat's Bear 103 N. Wayne Ave., Wayne.

While the main festival is Saturday, pre-festival kick off shows will be held Friday, June 9 at several area establishments.

The event attracts more than 10,000 people each year to enjoy a wide range of musical genres and artists from all over the country.

The festival highlights local and regional acts, as well as over 75 local restaurants and vendors.

Not only will tons of musicians and bands be performing, more than 75local restaurants and vendors will be on hand to offer food, drink, and more.

Water bottles, chairs, blankets, and other festival gear is allowed.

A parking map is available online here, but festival organizers encouraged attendees to take the train as the festival is just a short walk from the Wayne SETPA station.
