Reward Increased For Information On Radnor Bank Robbery
The Bank of America on Lancaster Avenue was robbed April 7 and a substantial award is offered for info leading to an arrest and conviction.
Radnor Township Police have increased the reward offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a bank robber that hit the area on April. Previously $3,000, police are now offering $7,000 for information.
Police said they have also narrowed down the get away car's model year. Police now believe the silver Toyota Camry used in the crime is either a 2002 or 2001 model.
Detectives determined the year based on the shape of the vehicle's tail light.

Additionally, the vehicle was reported as stolen out of Philadelphia. However, police have since learned only the displayed license plate on the Camry was stolen, saying the vehicle itself is unknown in terms of where it's registered.
This has lead police to wonder if the suspect is a local man or a sort of nomad moving from area to area.

Police have canvassed the area and received a few calls about the robbery that occurred on April 7 at the Bank of America on Lancaster Avenue, but have not had any luck finding the suspect yet.
Police said they are working with the FBI on bringing the suspect in.
The robbery occurred at about 12:34 p.m. Friday, April 7 at the Bank of America.
A man entered the store and handed a teller an illegible note, telling the teller to hand over large bills, police said.
He fled the bank heading east and a witness saw him enter the Camry on Gallagher Road, police said.
He was described as a white male between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall, with a medium build, red or brown beard and hair and was wearing light blue shorts, a gray zip up fleece, a blue hat with a circular logo and sneakers. He was wearing white latex gloves during the incident.
Police said the bank teller reported the suspect spoke out of the corner of his mouth, as if he has a disability limiting his speech or something in his mouth.
