RHS Freshman Orientation Scheduled For Aug. 15

Help your incoming high schooler ease into the 2017-2018 school year with "Freshman FUNdamentals"

WAYNE, PA – Is your kid heading to Radnor High School this year? If so, you won't want to miss the Radnor Township School District's upcoming freshman orientation event, "Freshman FUNdamentals."

The district is hosting its freshman orientation from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 15 at Radnor High School, 130 King of Prussia Road, Wayne.

The event will help students learn what to expect in the early days of the 2017-2018 school year, school norms, expectations, and what every day life at RHS is like, according to the district.

Incoming freshman will also participate in breakout sessions on social-emotional wellness and diversity, team and character building, the district said. These sessions will give students the tools and skills to help them navigate the early high school years.

Students will also meet with RHS building and administrative teams as well as upperclassmen at the event, according to the district.

The event is free and not mandatory, but students are highly encouraged to attend.
