On March 2, schools across the country hobnored Dr. Seuss' birthday with Read Across America Day, and Radnor Township Schools joined in on the literary fun.

Guest readers at Ithan, Radnor and Wayne elementary schools and Radnor Middle School included RTSD superintendent Kenneth Batchelor; RTSD principals Terry Borden, Tronya Boylan, Nancy Ferguson and Esther Purnell; officers from the Radnor Township Police Department; parent volunteers; RTSD School Board president David Falcone and board members Susan Stern and Chuck Madden; Anny Laepple and Andrea Elson of Radnor Memorial Library; and Radnor High School students.

Readers shared excerpts from a favorite book or read one of Dr. Seuss’ classic works to Radnor students, according to the district.
