Scam Callers Targeting Radnor Residents: Police
Police said the caller claims the targets won money, but that they must send money to get the money they allegedly won.
RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Some Radnor Township residents have been targeted by phone scammers recently, according to police.
Radnor Police said residents have reported that they've been targeted by scammers claiming the victims have won money.
According to police, caller advises the resident that they have won “some money,” but the victim has to send money to claim their prize.

Police said some residents report getting multiple calls over short time periods in which callers request the money be sent so the victims can get the "prizes."
According to police, this is a known scam and residents should never release any personal information over the phone unless they are familiar with the individual, business, or institution.

Anyone who gets a similar call is urged by Radnor Police to hang up and not provide any additional information.
