Scammers Posing As Apple Support Target Radnor Resident
Radnor Police said the scammer was able to get remote access to the victim's computer on a three-way call recently.
RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — A Radnor Township resident was targeted by scammers posing as Apple employees, police said.
Police said a resident got a three-way call from someone claiming to be from the Apple Care Fraud Department, recently.
After speaking with the resident, the scammer was able to get remote access to the victim's computer, police said.

The first caller used the third party conference caller to "verify" him as being an Apple employee, according to police.
The victim got suspicious and used a second phone to contact Apple directly. Apple confirmed that the original call was a scam.

Anyone else who may have been a victim of a similar type phone scam is asked to call the Radnor Police at 911.
