Scammers Posing As FBI Targeting Area Residents: Radnor Police

Radnor Police said the scammers call the victim, saying their vehicle was found in Texas with blood in it. Do not fall for the scam.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Scammers posing as FBI agents are targeting Main Line residents, police said.

According to Radnor Township Police, some residents have been targeted by these scammers recently.

Police said the scammers call the victim and tell them their personal vehicle has been found in Texas with blood in the interior of the car.

The caller then asks the resident to stay on the phone while it is being transferred to the FBI.

Then an "agent" gets on the line and asks for personal information and the victim's social security number.

Anyone who gets such a call is urged to hang up and not provide any information to the caller, police said.
