SCORE has dramatically expanded its counseling presence and educational offerings to entrepreneurs and small businesses in Delaware County.

Chester and Delaware County SCORE Launches Major Series of Educational Seminars and Workshops for Entrepreneurs and Small Business in Delaware County, PA
WEST CHESTER, PA, September 16, 2015 -- Winner of the 2015 Chapter of the Year award, Chester and Delaware County SCORE has dramatically expanded its counseling presence and educational offerings to entrepreneurs and small businesses in Delaware County. Over 100 business experts are providing free personal counseling services to to new and existing small businesses. “We’re excited to bring an expanded level of education and mentoring to businesses in Delaware County,” says Gerald Francis, past Chairperson of Chester and Delaware County SCORE.

The Delaware County Chamber is proud to announce the strengthened and renewed partnership with the Cester and Delaware County SCORE. The Chamber is excited to be able to offer businesses the resources they need to help them be successful. Having these business education resources available for members from SCORE in our offices, and throughout Delaware County, will be a great asset to the Chamber’s programming.

The Chapter is working closely with the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce and other Delaware County resources to offer several timely seminars on a wide range of business topics. These seminars include The Social + Mobile Equation; Get LinkedIn so you’re not LEFT OUT; Market BIG on a tiny Budget, Let’s Talk Facebook for Your Business, How to Start and Manage Your Business’s Payroll, Effective Communication Between Generations; How to Start and Operate a Small Business, and a full day of workshops for non-profits withMarketing, Fundraising, and More for Non-Profits. The venues for these workshops include the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, the Elwyn School, the Media-Upper Prividence Library, the Rachel Kohl Library, the Radnor Memorial Library, and Widener University SBDC. These seminars and workshops are being offered to entrepreneurs and small businesses at little to no cost.
