Seniors Represent RHS At International Leadership Conference

The conference provides attendees the opportunity to network with peers from around the world and to enhance their own leadership skills.

WAYNE, PA – Two Radnor High School seniors recently represented their school at an international conference.

Radnor High School seniors Gregory McNicholas and Macie Plotkin attended the 2017 Best Buddies International Leadership Conference from July 21 through July 23 at Indiana University, the Radnor Township School District announced.

Both McNicholas and Plotkin have been involved with Best Buddies Radnor since their freshman year at the high school and will be co-Presidents for the second straight year this fall, the district said.

Best Buddies Radnor is a chapter of Best Buddies International, a nationally and internationally recognized organization that pairs peers of typical intellect with those who have an intellectual disability, according to the district.

Held annually each July, The Best Buddies International Leadership Conference prepares program members and staff with the tools and motivation to bring the Best Buddies mission to schools and communities around the world, according to the district.

Attendees participate in educational training in leadership and best practices led by Best Buddies staff and outside speakers, as well as special events to celebrate friendship and inclusion.

The conference provides youth and adult attendees with the opportunity to network with peers from around the world and to enhance their own leadership skills.
