Another Sexual Assault At A Main Line University Under Investigation
The news comes just days after a Villanova University football player was charged with rape and more charges.
ST. DAVIDS, PA — Radnor Township Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault that occurred on a local university's campus.
Eastern University, located in the St. Davids section of the township, announced Radnor Police are looking into the reported incident.
Details on the alleged sexual assault were not immediately available.

"We are cooperating fully with the Radnor Police Department, which is actively investigating the matter," the Christian university said in a statement. "The University is acting in accordance with state and federal laws and institutional policy to support the students involved."
Eastern said its students' safety is among the school's top priorities and that fostering a safe and respectful environment is central to its mission.

"As a Christian University, we are deeply committed to the well-being of all students, and provide a wide variety of supportive services," the statement said.
The news comes just days after Villanova University freshman and Wildcats wide receiver D'hani Cobbs was charged with rape and more crimes. Authorities said Cobbs forcibly penetrated and assaulted the victim without consent in a Villanova dorm in December 2025.
Cobbs was released on $250,000 unsecured bail and ordered to have no contact with the victim, according to the Delaware County District Attorney's office. A preliminary hearing for Cobbs is scheduled for Feb. 12.
