Stray Bullet Enters Sleeping Radnor Child's Bedroom

Police said they thought someone was firing at a road sign and missed.

Radnor Township Police said someone using a road sign for target practice missed -- and the bullet ended up in the bedroom of a sleeping Radnor Township child.

Zach Marino was asleep in his home on the 600 block of Bryn Mawr Avenue just after midnight on Thursday, Jan. 29, as any 12-year-old would be, NBC Philadelphia said. He was awoken by what his parents thought was an animal hitting the house, NBC said.

It wasn’t until Saturday, when his mother was cleaning his room, that she found a hole in the wall and a bullet on the carpet, 6ABC said.
