Strong Arm Robbery Reported At Wayne Shopping Center, Police Seek Suspects
The incident was reported at the Gateway Shopping Center. Police are seeking the suspects, who used the woman's credit cards.
A strong arm robbery occurred in the Gateway Shopping Center in Wayne on Thursday, May 19, Tredyffrin police said.
A female shopper was walking in the parking lot near T.J. Max at about 8:15 p.m. when a blue and teal car with two white men inside pulled up beside her, police said.
One of the men grabbed her purse as the vehicle sped away, dragging the woman along with her purse for a short distance.

The woman was injured on her face and chest, police said.
The vehicle, an older model car with a gray rear bumper and loud exhaust, was last seen exiting toward the Mobil station on the west side of the center, police said.

The first suspect is described as a white male in his late teens to early 20s, with light blonde hair and a thin mustache.
Authorities said the second man was in his early 20s, about 6'0 tall, with a light beard and sweatshirt. He wore a gray and red lettered t-shirt that read "CALI," according to police.
This second man used the victim's credit cards at the Malvern Wegmans and Malvern Target. He was trying to buy Crest White strips and razor blades.
The suspects attempted to use the credit cards again about 90 minutes after the robbery at a Lancaster County Turkey Hill.
Police believe the suspects are from the Lancaster County area.
