Student In Custody After Lockdown At Archbishop Caroll In Radnor

Radnor Township Police said the school is safe and that they did not find a weapon of any type in the school or on the person in custody.

RADNOR, PA — A student is in police custody after Archbishop Caroll High School in Radnor was locked down, police said.

According to Radnor Police, a person has been detained by police and the lockdown has been lifted.

Police were called to the school at about 11:40 a.m. Wednesday after getting a report of a person who may have been armed in the school.

Authorities went into the school and took a student into custody at about 11:50 a.m.

The lockdown was lifted at 12:17 p.m. Radnor High School and Radnor Elementary School were placed on lock out as a precaution, police said.

Police said they did not find a weapon of any type on the student or in the school.

Police said no charges have been filed.
