Suspicious Fires At Main Line Apartment Complexes Under Investigation: Police

The fires broke out one after another in close proximity, authorities said.

RADNOR, PA — Two dumpsters at nearby Main Line apartment complexes caught fire last week. Police are trying to identify four people from surveillance footage.

One dumpster fire was reported around 4:35 p.m. June 2 at La Maison Apartments (219 Sugartown Rd., Wayne), according to Radnor Police. The fire was near an occupied building.

While on-scene, the Radnor Fire Company was notified of a second dumpster fire across the street — in the parking lot of another apartment complex in Tredyffrin.

Surveillance footage showed four people near the dumpster shortly before the fire began, police said. Radnor Police are trying to identify them.

"Although not clear, we hope you can identify the clothing or gait of those pictured below," Radnor Police said.
