Swarthmore Student Dies After Falling Off Cliff: Report

A Swarthmore College student died after falling down a cliff on campus, according to reports.

The student slipped and fell at least 40 feet down the cliff Saturday afternoon, NBC10 reported. The fall was accidental, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

The school identified the victim as Anthony Chiarenza, of Bayside, N.Y., the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

The area where the student was walking is called Crum Woods, the Inquirer said. It is located at the rear of the campus property and features rocky cliffs and hiking trails.
