Teens Rob Delco Store of Thousands, Lead Police On Chase: Report

Three teenage boys from Delaware County are now facing numerous charges, including felonies, after allegedly stealing $20,000 to $30,000.

COLLINGDALE, PA — Three Delaware County teen boys are facing numerous charges, including many felonies, after police allege they were involved in a heist and police chase, according to reports and court records.

Nasir Bell, 17, of Upper Darby; Dahmar Redd, 16, of Colwyn; and Kashan Robinson, 16, of Collingdale has all been charged in connection with a Feb. 2 incident where the three allegedly robbed a T-Mobile store at gunpoint then fled from police in a vehicle.

All three are being charged as adults with felony robbery, receiving stolen property, theft and firearms charges, as well as assault charges.

Each boy is being held on $500,000 bail. Redd and Bell are slated to appear for preliminary hearings on Feb. 12 and Robinson on Feb. 19, court records show.

The Delaware County Times reports the three are accused by authorities of stealing $20,000 to $30,000 from a T-Mobile store in Collingwood at gunpoint then leading police on a chase in a stolen Hyundai Tucson that ended in Southwest Philadelphia.

According to the outlet, the three were spotted by Philadelphia Police officers in a helicopter who were using a thermal imaging camera.
