Thomas Quintois named Carroll High School girls’ soccer coach

Season opens Aug. 31 against against Gwynedd Mercy Academy

Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor has appointed Thomas J. Quintois as head coach of the girls’ soccer team.

Quintois has extensive coaching experience. He served as head coach of the men’s team at Ursinus College in Collegeville, Penn.; girl’s and boy’s head coach at Souderton Area School District in Souderton, Penn.; head girl’s coach and assistant boy’s coach at Cheltenham High School in Cheltenham Township, Penn.; director of coaching and head coach of the Eastern Pennsylvania Soccer Association and Region 1 coach of the U.S. Youth Soccer Association.

“I am extremely honored and grateful for the opportunity to be the head girls’ soccer coach at Archbishop Carroll High School,” said Quintois, who is also Carroll’s Athletic Director. “I am eager to meet the players and compete in the Philadelphia Catholic League.”

A graduate of Temple University, Quintois is a former Coach of the Year for the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association, Suburban One and Southeastern Pennsylvania.

“Coach Quintois has won at every level, and we are pleased that he will be using his successful coaching experience to lead our student-athletes on the soccer field,” said Francis E. Fox, Carroll president.

The Lady Patriots begin their season under Coach Quintois Aug. 31, against Gwynedd Mercy Academy.
