Three Radnor Cops Earn Promotions
Congratulations to Radnor Police's Chris Flanagan, Andy Block, and Shawn Dietrich.

The Radnor Township Commissioners held their regular meeting Monday night and approved promotions for three members of the Radnor Township Police Department. Two of the members were promoted to Deputy Superintendent while the other was promoted to Lieutenant.
Lts. Chris Flanagan and Andy Block were promoted to Deputy Superintendent positions while Sgt. Shawn Dietrich was promoted to Lieutenant.
"When I started here, Andy Block was a sergeant, Chris Flanagan was a patrol sergeant, and Shawn Deitrich was a detective," Police superintendent William Colarulo said at Monday's meeting. "It's amazing how they excelled in their careers. In my 26 years in law enforcement I've never seen three individuals perform in their capacity the way they performed."

Board President Elaine Schaefer said she "could not be more proud" to vote on approving the three for promotions.
"All three of these individuals in my time here have done an outstanding job," Township Manager Robert Zienkowski said of the trio.

Present at the promotion ceremony were members of various main line emergency departments, including the Lower Merion Fire Department, the Haverford Township Police Department, Delaware County emergency services, and even the Philadelphia Fire Department.
