Township Of Radnor: August 2, 2021: Fast Approaching Deadline To File A Tax Assessment Appeal With Delco

See the latest announcement from the Township of Radnor.

July 22, 2021

As you may have already noticed this year, your property tax bills – School District, County and Township – have each been impacted by the property reassessment project under the direction of Delaware County. Delaware County completed the project last year and the reassessment values were effective as of January 1, 2021. As such, the County and Township property tax bills received in early Spring reflected the change in assessment. And, most recently, the School District’s property tax bill reflects the same change in assessment.

If you believe your respective tax bills (School District, County or Township) do not fairly represent the value of your property, you have an opportunity to file an appeal. All appeals are under the jurisdiction of Delaware County and you have until August 2, 2021 to file. Please follow this link to reach the County website.

Should there be any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Kathryn Gartland, Radnor Township Treasurer, at kgartland@radnor.org
