REFUSE/RECYCLE/YARD/ WASTE/ HOLIDAY SCHEDULE SUBJECT TO WEATHER CONDITIONS:

  • Monday – Holiday Closed
  • Tuesday – District 1 Refuse
  • Wednesday – District 2 Refuse
  • Thursday – District 1 Recycling
  • Friday – District 2 Recycling

UTILITIES:

  • Gas Main work on Boxwood Rd and Barclay Road will continue through Q1 2021.
  • Gas Main work on Lenoir Avenue and Bloomingdale Road will begin February 1, 2021.
  • Following is the Current Schedule for Miller Bros. crews in Radnor for 2021, pending weather / unforeseen circumstances:

  • Darby Paoli Road is closed to traffic for PENNDOT bridge work at the Willows Park entrance.

Winter Recreational Programming Up and Running/Registration Open:

Park & Recreation Facilities:

  • Current Status Amidst Covid-19 - All Parks & Trails and corresponding amenities are OPEN for usage including permitted usage in accordance with state and federal guidelines (water fountains remain closed) – please pay close attention to the signage that has been posted regarding safe practices for usage and mask wearing.
  • Radnor Activity Center is back open with Department programming, Radnor Youth Basketball, and several ongoing rentals. American Red Cross Blood Drives will take place on Friday, February 12th; Friday, February 26th, Friday, March 12th, and Friday, March 26th.

Radnor Township Department of Engineering

  • Create maps for PIO posting on the TAP Trail
  • Attend construction kick off meeting for TAP Trail
  • Prepare bid specifications for Street Light and Traffic Signal Maintenance Contracts
  • Review with PW and Aqua for 2021 water line installation project outline.
  • Site visits to Morris Road Project, Harford Trail, TAP Trail, grading permit sites.
  • Obtain Easements for Lancaster Avenue Sanitary sewer project, West Wayne Sidewalk Project, North Wayne/Eagle Road Sidewalk Project, North Wayne/west Avenue Pedestrian Project
  • Respond to builders’ and developer’s inquiries
  • Perform Site Inspections
  • Review land development application plans
  • Continuing weekly meetings with consultants (Carroll, Gilmore, Gannett Fleming) on all infrastructure projects
  • Process grading permit, clearing, sidewalk, and U&O applications
  • Address resident concerns.
  • Respond to and meet with residents on various concerns, in most cases stormwater runoff/flooding
  • Process, review, and approve invoices for payment to Finance Department

Radnor Township Department of Finance

Michele Delli Pizzi will start with the Township on Tuesday, February 16th as the new Act 511 Business Tax Administrator. Michele previously worked for Upper Merion Township for 25+ years in the Finance department as their Act 511 Business Tax Administrator. Michele is well known in this area of business tax administration and collections, has worked with Radnor's Act 511 tax solicitor, and comes to us with high praise and recommendations from her references. We welcome Michele as she is excited and prepared to hit the ground running next week!
