REFUSE/RECYCLE/YARD/ WASTE SCHEDULE:
- Monday –District 1 Refuse
- Tuesday – District 2 Refuse
- Wednesday – Yard Waste & Bulk Pickup
- Thursday – District 1 Recycling
- Friday – District 2 Recycling
TREE REMOVAL AND PRUNING: Jimmy’s Tree & Landscape (Road Closures will be in effect, residents will have access.)

UTILITIES:
- Gas Main work on Boxwood Rd and Barclay Rd. will continue through Q1 2021.
- Following is the Current Schedule for Miller Bros. crews in Radnor for 2021, pending weather / unforeseen circumstances:
2021 Scope
- Darby Paoli Road is closed to traffic for PENNDOT bridge work at the Willows Park entrance.
Radnor Township Department of Recreation
Winter Recreational Programming Up and Running/Registration Open:
- Champions Basketball Program at Radnor Activity Center (Starting 2/1/21; 12 participants)
- Soccer Shots Junior Soccer at Radnor Memorial Park
- Junior & Adult Tennis at Radnor Racquet Club
- Men’s Pick Up Basketball at Radnor Activity Center
- Adult Pickleball at Radnor Activity Center
- Adult Bootcamp at Radnor Memorial Park
- NEW! Love & Leaders Bowl! Inaugural Flag Football 4v4 Tournament on Monday, February 15th at Radnor Memorial Turf
- NEW! 10th Annual Daddy Daughter Date Night! Will take place on Friday, February 5th and Friday, February, 12th and will include live, interactive activities led by Department staff via Zoom, opportunity to patron a host of local, participating restaurants, and a Take-Home Memory Box – Registration is now closed, please call for availability.
- Bishop Richard Allen Park – Bishop Richard Allen Park Wreath Laying Ceremony will take place on Sunday, February 14th 1:00 PM

Park & Recreation Facilities:
- Current Status Amidst Covid-19 - All Parks & Trails and corresponding amenities are OPEN for usage including permitted usage in accordance with state and federal guidelines (water fountains remain closed) – please pay close attention to the signage that has been posted regarding safe practices for usage and mask wearing.
- Radnor Activity Center is back open with Department programming, Radnor Youth Basketball, and several ongoing rentals.
Radnor Township Department of Engineering
- Meet with consultant and owner of Eastern University on staff review letter comments
- Prepare bid package for 2021 Superpave Project.
- Prepare RFPs
- Evaluate and address severe root intrusion on three separate sanitary sewer lines, determine best method of mitigation.
- Meet with PECO for 2021 gas main installation project outline.
- Meet with Aqua for 2021 water line installation project outline.
- Site visits to Morris Road Project, grading permit sites.
- Obtain Easements for Lancaster Avenue Sanitary sewer project, West Wayne Sidewalk Project, North Wayne/Eagle Road Sidewalk Project, North Wayne/west Avenue Pedestrian Project
- Address bidder’s questions on Wooton Road bid
- Precon for Cumberland
- Respond to builders’ and developer’s inquiries
- Perform Site Inspections
- Meter Bridge close out (final)
- Review land development application plans
- Continuing weekly meetings with consultants (Carroll, Gilmore, Gannett Fleming) on all infrastructure projects
- Process grading permit, clearing, sidewalk, and U&O applications
- Address resident concerns
- Respond to and meet with residents on various concerns, in most cases stormwater runoff/flooding
- Prepare and send Shade Tree Commission packet to STC members
- Process, review, and approve invoices for payment to Finance Department
Radnor Township Department of Finance
- The County and Township real estate tax bills are being printed and once reviewed and approved, it is expected they will be out in the mail by the end of next week.
- Through a professional contact at a neighboring healthcare facility, Mary Lou Knepshield was able to schedule COVID vaccinations for members of the Radnor Police department. As of today, 78% of the police department has received their first of their two shots from the facility. Based on availability, Mary Lou is seeking to arrange vaccinations for the Public Works department next.
