Trump Protesters Channel Gritty Tuesday In Philly [PHOTOS]

President Donald Trump was in Philadelphia Tuesday speaking at an electrical contractor convention, and of course protesters showed up.

PHILADELPHIA – President Donald Trump spoke to attendees of the National Electrical Contractors Convention Tuesday in Philadelphia. And of course protesters showed up to express their anger over the president and his policies.

What made Tuesday's demonstrations different is the use of a new Philly icon: Gritty.

Protesters channeled the Philadelphia Flyers mascot, who was first derided and now appears to be widely loved by Philadelphians, in denouncing the president.

Trump spoke to attendees about the economic gains under his administration and future job gains thanks to trade deals with Mexico and Canada.
