Update On Closed Roads In Radnor
Utility, township, and contractor crews are working to reopen the roads after Sunday's weather brought down trees, wires, and more.
Three streets in Radnor Township are still closed due to downed trees and wires thanks to Sunday's severe weather.
According to the township, Conestoga Road, Pembroke and South Aberdeen avenues, and Iven Avenue are still closed. Crews are also working on the Radnor Trail to remove downed trees.
The township gave the following updates on the closed roads:

- Conestoga Road at Hardwicke: utility companies are on site. Crews are expected to complete work by a out 5 p.m., the township said. The road is open, but crews working are not letting vehicles through, the township said. Traffic will be permitted when the work is completed, the township said. The utilities stated they would contact Radnor Township Police when they are finished, the township said.
- Pembroke & South Aberdeen: utility companies are working at the site, but tree removal has been completed, according to the township. Completion time is to be determined, the township said. The road will open when work is done, the township said.
- Iven Avenue: utility companies are still on site. The township said things such as poles and communication wires were affected by the weather, giving crews plenty to work on. The township said it's been the utility companies will most likely be working into the night. Public works crews are not able to get in to remove the logs/debris until the utility companies are done, the township said.
- Radnor Trail: Contractor Al Horgan is working on the trail to remove trees as noted the township's arborist, according to the township. Horgan crews will be working today and tomorrow to clear the trail, the township said.
The township announced the road closures early Monday morning after Sunday's severe weather brought down trees and wires throughout the township.
