How have they made an impact?
Mr. Vogel is an amazing teacher, mentor, IEP counselor and, lastly, a student’s biggest advocate and support system. He has embraced countless students in both good and stressful times, supporting and guiding them to achieve the highest level of excellence they have to offer.
In the three years I have had the blessing of his guidance and support, he has been everything any parent could wish to have on their child’s side throughout the craziness of high school and the world we’re living in. I love his check-ins with positive reports of growth and, occasionally, the call about disobedience. Either way, he has handled everyone I know with respect, dignity and zero judgment, which literally makes a world of difference not only to the student, but to the parent or guardian as well.
If for nothing else, he should be recognized for being a solid, true-hearted human being who genuinely cares about his students and their lives after high school. He truly is one of a kind, and anyone who has the pleasure of being under his wing should consider themselves lucky because, without breaking boundaries, he literally does everything he can to promote healthy, positive growth. Thank you, Mr. Vogel.
