VILLANOVA, PA – Financial analysts at WalletHub recently took a look at the best colleges and universities in the country, and we have the breakdown of how Pennsylvania schools fared, including Villanova University, in their rankings.
WalletHub’s analysts compared nearly 1,000 higher-education institutions in the U.S. based on 26 key measures grouped into seven categories, such as student selectivity, cost and financing, and career outcomes.
The data set ranges from student-faculty ratio to graduation rate to post-attendance median salary.

So, when factoring all the metrics, Villanova is ranked Pennsylvania's ninth best institution of higher learning, behind nearby Haverford and Bryn Mawr colleges.

Overall, the Delaware County college is the 83rd best in the country, WalletHub says.
