Villanova SEPTA Stop Reopens After Weeks-Long Closure

The Norristown High Speed Line stop in Villanova is open after work on the pedestrian bridge shut it down in late October.

VILLANOVA, PA – After closing in October for construction work on the Lancaster Avenue-spanning pedestrian bridge, the Villanova stop on SEPTA's Norristown High Speed Line has reopened.

The station opened Monday, Dec. 11 after it closed to accommodate work on the bridge connecting Villanova University to the SEPTA platform.

With the station open, Villanova University said the rear part of the new bridge is also open, as well as the walkway over the tracks.
