The Wait Is Up: Celebrate the Grand Opening of The Gravity Vault Radnor

The Gravity Vault brings Indoor Rock Climbing to the Main Line

Radnor, Pa. - March 21, 2017 - Prospective patrons in the Radnor, Pa., community have been patiently awaiting the opening of the 16,000 + square foot rock climbing gym being built on the Philadelphia Main Line. The wait is up as The Gravity Vault Radnor officially opens its doors this Saturday, March 25 for its Grand Opening Celebration.

Festivities will kick off at 9 a.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony conducted by the Radnor Fire Departmentand will continue until noon with free climbs, day passes, membership specials, giveaways, climbing demonstrations, food, raffles, & more. Customers will also be able to take advantage of 15% off all Pro Shop sales until 1 p.m. and Today’s 96.5 will be onsite giving away prizes.

The Staff and I are incredibly excited to be opening in Radnor and to be apart of the southeastern climbing scene. We have met many passionate, experienced climbers as well as locals looking to learn and we can’t wait to have them in to climb. The Grand Opening is set up in a way where we have a little bit of everything for each level of climber,” said Zach Barber, co-owner of The Gravity Vault.

This will be the first Gravity Vault to open in Pennsylvania, with locations in both New Jersey and New York. This massive gym offers both a challenging and fulfilling experience for climbers of all ages and experience levels. The Gravity Vault Radnor will offer programs ranging from Memberships, Private Lessons, Climbing Teams, Youth Classes, Birthday Parties, Scout Programs, Corporate Team Building, Pro Shop, and more. The Gravity Vault Radnor is located right on the Philadelphia Main Line at 175 King of Prussia Road.

The Gravity Vault Indoor Rock Gym has been serving the climbing community since 2005. Founded by Lucas Kovalcik and Tim Walsh, they built the first location in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey.

In 2013, The Gravity Vault took the next step towards bringing rock climbing to local communities everywhere through franchising. The Radnor location will be The Gravity Vault’s third franchisee owned and operated facility. The Gravity Vault is working to open facilities in states spanning the east coast.
