Wayne Avenue between Holly Road and Deepdale Road is closed during the day as of Monday, November 30. The road will be closed from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for water main replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.
The weekday closure will be in effect through late December.
During construction, Wayne Avenue through traffic will be detoured over Upper Gulph Road, Old Eagle School Road and U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue). Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area. The construction schedule is contingent on the weather.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
