Wayne Man Facing Felony Charge After Wrong-Way I-95 Crash
Anthony Colabove is behind bars after allegedly fleeing police, driving into opposing traffic, and crashing into another vehicle on I-95.
WAYNE, PA — The Wayne man who is accused of causing a crash while driving into oncoming traffic on Interstate 95 north is facing a felony and numerous other charges in connection with the March 4 incident, according to Pennsylvania State Police and court documents.
Anthony Colabove, 41, of Wayne, has been charged with felony eluding police, possession of a controlled substance, DUI, recklessly endangering another person, careless driving, reckless driving, and two failure to yield charges, court records show.
Colabove remains jailed after failing to post 10 percent of $75,000 bail, which was set at his March 5 preliminary arraignment.

Pennsylvania State Police charged Colabove after the incident unfolded at about 3:15 p.m. on March 4 on Interstate 95 in Tinicum Township.
Police said Colabove fled police when they tried to stop him on Interstate 95 south near the Philadelphia International Airport.

They allege Colabove crossed into oncoming traffic on Interstate 95 north in an attempt to flee.
On I-95 north, Colabove in a 2019 Ford F-150 sideswiped a 2019 Hyundai Genesis, driven by 19-year-old Colin Miller, of Glenolden, according to police.
Police said the truck has major damage and was at rest on the southern shoulder of I-95 north, facing south.
The Hyundai has heavy damage to the passenger side and was at rest on the north shoulder of I-95 north, police said.
State Police said Philadelphia Police Department, Tinicum Police, Prospect Park Police provided assistance at the crash scene.
Colabove is awaiting his preliminary hearing, which is slated for March 18, court records show
