Wayne Tree Planting, Sidewalk Repair Work Continues

WAYNE, PA — Work is still ongoing for the Wayne Business Overlay District Tree Planting and Paving Project, so what's the work schedule this week?

According to the township, the south side of Lancaster Avenue was paved Monday, Oct. 14.

Now, trees will be planted and bricks pavers laid on North Wayne Avenue Tuesday, Oct. 15.

On Oct. 16, planting and laying will continue on North Wayne Avenue and begin on South Wayne, West, and West Wayne avenues.

Then, pavement marking and parking spot numbering will be done overnight Thursday, Oct. 17 on Lancaster and West Wayne avenues from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, Oct, 18, as well as on North Wayne Avenue from 10 p.m. Thursday to noon Friday.

Finally, on Friday the north side of Lancaster Avenue will see tree planting and brick laying.

The work schedule is subject to change
