Refuse/Recycle/Yard Waste Schedule:

  • Monday – District 1 Refuse
  • Tuesday – District 2 Refuse
  • Wednesday – Yard Waste
  • Thursday - District 1 Recycling
  • Friday – District 2 Recycling

Township Paving Project to Continue Through Next Week

  • Allen Myers, Inc. has finished the milling portion of the 2020 Superpave Resurfacing Project. They will continue paving on Monday, September 28. Please check the Township website for daily schedule updates.

Utilities:

  • Miller Brothers continues PECO gas main work in the South Devon area & Beaupre sections of the Township.
  • Along with the above work South Devon Ave. will be closed a block at a time for gas main installation.
  • Darby Paoli Road is closed to traffic for PENNDOT bridge work at the entrance to the Willows. The project is anticipated to last for the remaining of 2020.
  • Aqua will be installing 2,104 feet of Water Main and water services on Radnor Street Road starting at Eagle Road and working down to Walnut Avenue. They will proceed on Walnut Avenue to Woodland Avenue. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents will have access.

Community Events:

  • Fall Harvest & Great Pumpkin Patch Event; Girl Scout Sing-a-Long & Campfire; Trick or Treat at the Township Building; and Mother-Daughter Tea Party – all events have been cancelled for 2020
  • Garrett Hill Tree Lighting and Santa’s Delivery are still being evaluated for 2020

Park & Recreation Facilities:

  • Current Status Amidst Covid-19 - All Parks & Trails and corresponding amenities are OPEN for usage including permitted usage in accordance with state and federal guidelines (water fountains remain closed) – new stake signage was developed and has been posted regarding safe practices for usage and mask wearing.
  • Radnor Activity Center is CLOSED – the facility will re-open in October as a back up for inclement weather for outdoor programming; possible rentals; and for Election Day on 11/3.
  • Department continues to coordinate permitted usage of athletic fields and park areas with users throughout the entire park system.
  • Fenimore Woods Improvement Project design and bid package is being finalized and a bid schedule will be available soon.
