Wheels Of Wayne Set For Sunday After Rain Postponement

WAYNE, PA — After heavy rains postponed the Wheels of Wayne Car and Motorcycle Show on May 5, the annual event is all set for Sunday, May 19.

North Wayne and West Wane avenues in downtown Wayne will feature antique, classic, and custom cars, trucks, and motorcycles from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 19.

During the event, North Wayne and West avenues will be closed.

North Wayne Avenue will be closed between Lancaster Avenue and West Avenue from 7 a.m. through 7 p.m. A small portion of West Avenue will be closed from 7 a.m. through 7 p.m. as well.

Parking will be prohibited in this area during the closure and vehicles will be towed.

Attendees will be able to enjoy entertainment, food, prizes, and more.

In addition to the show, vendors, and entertainment, the pulled pork and pizza contest returns.

Participants in the contests will have judges stop by their tables to taste the pulled pork and pizzas. Two types of pizza — margherita and a specialty pie of the competitor's choice — will be judged.

First and second-place winners in both pulled pork and pizza will be awarded with trophies.
