UPLAND, PA — A Delaware County woman pleaded guilty to making a false sexual assault report in court recently after being accused of making up the allegation because she was bored, according to court documents and county authorities.

Mengini was taken to Crozer Chester Medical Center and CID detectives later arrived meet with her.
According to the DA's office, Mengini told detectives that a woman she met online came over to her home and began kissing her.
Mengini claimed that she locked herself in a bathroom and told the woman she was married, the DA's office said.
Mengini said when she unlocked the bathroom door, the woman entered the bathroom, and undressed Mengini, sexually touching her, thereafter following her into the bedroom, according to the DA's office.
The DA's office said after the alleged assault, Mengini said ran out of the house to the police department to report the sexual assault.
On April 25, Mengini's husband spoke with law enforcement and later met with CID detectives.
He told detectives Mengini got threatening messages from the other woman's husband, the DA's office said.
Detectives interviewed Mengeni who ultimately admitted that she had sent the threatening messages to herself using spoofed numbers, according to the DA's office.
During the interview with detectives, Mengini admitted the sexual encounter with the woman was consensual, and she had falsely claimed she had been sexually assaulted because she was mad at her husband and had nothing to occupy her time as she did not have friends in the area, the DA's office said.
