Woman Drove Off With Radnor Cop Partially In Car: Police

Radnor Police said Japiera Daniels, of Philadelphia, drove away from a traffic stop while an officer was partially in her vehicle last week.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — A Philadelphia woman is sought for fleeing a traffic stop in Radnor while a police officer was partially in her vehicle, according to authorities.

Radnor Police said Japiera A. Daniels, 21, of Philadelphia, is wanted for assault of a law enforcement officers and fleeing police in connection with a Friday incident.

Police stopped Daniels for motor vehicle violations, and during the stop learned she was wanted in Montgomery County.

As she was about to be taken into custody, police said she drove off with one of the officer's arms still in her vehicle, police said.

According to police, Daniels was in a blue Ford Fusion, maybe with a temporary license plate held on with duct tape.

The officer was treated at a local hospital and has since been released. Daniels fled from the stop.
