Man Drove Into Traffic, Nearly Hit Bus While DUI: Radnor Police

Police said a Philadelphia man was driving into oncoming traffic and nearly hit a school bus while DUI Friday in Radnor.

RADNOR, PA — A Philadelphia man is facing felony charges after allegedly driving into oncoming traffic and nearly hitting a school bus while under the influence, Radnor Police said.

Court records show Francis T. Colleran, 52, of Philadelphia, has been charged with felony drug possession, DUI, drug paraphernalia possession, careless driving, and related crimes.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred Friday, April 12.

At about 4 p.m. April 12, Radnor Police were called to the area of Countyline Road and North Ithan Avenue for reports of a reckless driver.

According to police, a silver Chevrolet Equinox was driving into oncoming traffic and nearly struck a school bus.

Police located the car, which had damage to its driver's side, nearby on Gulph Creek and King of Prussia roads and arrested Colleran.

Colleran was released after posting 10 percent of $30,000 bail.

He is slated for a preliminary hearing on April 24, court documents show.
