Yangming To Offer Public Tours Of Renovation Project

Yangming restaurant, which reopened last week after a roach infestation closed it down in August, will host a public open house this Sunday, Nov. 1 from 12 to 2 pm.

During the event, management will offer guided tours of the restaurant and serve complementary food and beverages.

Yangming says its ownership and management have undertaken “extraordinary measures to renovate and refurbish the restaurant” after it was shut down.

“We believe in our customers and they believe in us” said Alan Huynh, General Manager of Yangming. “We look forward to showing any interested member of the public the great lengths we have gone to fix our establishment. It is our hope that customers bring their support and understanding and are ready to join us as we works to reestablish Yangming as the one of the best Chinese restaurants in the country.”

The $500,000 renovation job includes the following improvements to the restaurant: the vestibule and dining rooms have received new flooring and wall and window treatments; kitchen areas have undergone extensive cleaning, sanitizing and replacement or updating of equipment; food storage areas and refrigerators have been completely cleaned and updated or replaced; the basement has been thoroughly cleaned; and the exterior has been repainted and undergone landscaping improvements.

Plus, Yangming plans to install new chairs, barstools, glass partitions and light fixtures.

Yangming restaurant is located at 1051 Conestoga Rd, Bryn Mawr.
